Clear Writer is a journal for Apple Vision Pro with one promise: the rectangle can go away, and it is just you, your words, and the room you are sitting in.

The page
Put the headset on and today's page is already floating in front of you, cursor ready. No picker, no menu, no new document dialog. You write. Every word saves as you write it. You take the headset off. That is the whole loop.
Choose what sits behind your words: nothing at all, soft glass, or a black page. Set the size of the type once and forget it. The controls fold away into the date above the page, and typing folds them away again.
Vanishing ink
When you want to pour out a draft, open Format and choose Vanishing ink. Your words fade a moment after you write them, so there is nothing to reread, nothing to fix, and nothing to judge. The page moves forward only.
Every word is saved. The whole page is waiting the moment you leave.
Your journal
Your pages gather by month, each wearing its day as a title and its first words as a snippet. Reread a past page in its own window beside today's. Share any page as plain text whenever you want a copy somewhere else.
No score
No streaks, no goals, no reminders, no badges. A journal that keeps score stops being a journal. Even the word count is off until you ask for it, and it never congratulates you.
Your words stay on your device
Your pages are saved as plain text files inside the app's own storage on your Vision Pro. There is no account. Nothing is uploaded. There is no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. Read the full privacy policy.
